Student Services

Our chaplain officiates Catholic mass each week, helps prepare students for the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation and offers spiritual guidance to students and the entire school community.

A qualified nurse is on duty during school hours. This is to guarantee immediate attention with regard to the health of students and employees. Our nurse provides palliative and first aid care and communicates with families when evaluation by a doctor is recommended. In the case of emergencies, Colegio San Patricio contracts the services of Emermédica S.A.

The main library contains 3,500 volumes of reference and other material which students may borrow. Classic, antique and delicate books in print have been recorded digitally. Our librarian manages the periodicals’ archive, vertical file and map collection and preserves works produced by students and teachers that are considered important to curriculum development and for historical purposes.

The dining room is a place not only to receive a delicious and balanced meal, but also for socialization with teachers as well as students of other grades. Additionally, each month we celebrate a different culture through its cuisine. All menus are prepared by our nutritionist, seeking a balance of carbohydrates, vegetables, fruits, dairy and protein that provide calories, vitamins and fiber that the students require for normal growth. Our kitchen and suppliers comply with all requirements to ensure optimum product quality.

Colegio San Patricio owns the necessary equipment to produce different forms of printed communications and publications.  Photocopy services are available to students.

Students from First through Eleventh Grades may purchase their snacks during morning recess.  Preschoolers receive both morning and afternoon snacks included as part of their nutritional program.

The objective of the Student Orientation Center is to provide a place for students to express concerns, ask for help, resolve conflicts and receive guidance in situations that affect their emotional health. Additionally students who receive external help with their respective therapists will have personalized follow-up. Along with their parents, we will jointly seek adequate strategies for normal and healthy development.

Another function of the Orientation Center is to hold workshops on topics of concern to parents and to promote integration between families. Prevention programs and group activities for student integration as well as career orientation for tenth and eleventh graders are coordinated and executed through this Center.

A private company, which is evaluated each year by the school, provides bus and van transportation for students under certain previously-agreed-upon terms and conditions. All vehicles which transport students must complete the requisites of the Transit and Transportation Secretary.

For families not utilizing the school’s transportation service, it is the responsibility of such families to ensure that all vehicles and transporters not associated with the school or the contracted company comply with all of the security requirements.
