The Senior section includes tenth and eleventh grades. Academic work is based on building knowledge through the pursuit of personal academic excellence in the development of strategies and skills for logical thinking and analytical decision-making. A wide range of opportunities are offered to encourage the spiritual, intellectual, creative, physical and emotional development of each student.
Laser Project
“From Being to Doing”, is an educational project for 11th graders which provides a link between school and university life. It is an opportunity to begin to put into practice the values and knowledge acquired thus far in order to make decisions about continuing education and construct a life plan.
The LASER Project offers courses specialized in different disciplines that students are considering for their career. These courses are very similar to what may be encountered at university level, allowing students to sample some of the academic material that will be required for their career under consideration.
Through in-depth investigation, analysis and synthesis students prepare a mini-thesis on a selected and personally significant topic and create an argument supporting their own position. Additional courses aimed at providing didactic experiences beneficial for their future, such as creating a mini-company and professional and life orientation, are also given.
